UVAQ Students train in Handball

Santa Maria Campus. As part of their professional training, students of the School of Physical Culture and Sports at UVAQ received training in the course-workshop "Methodological aspects in the teaching and learning of Handball in Physical Education and Sports Training" in the Cesar Nava Auditorium.

"We seek to promote the activities of physical culture, in this case, we taught the Handball course workshop. It is a discipline that requires a lot of motor intelligence, it’s a very fast game that enables the player to solve a situation in a split second, this is reflected in the daily lives of those who practice it. There are several models or methodologies to teach this sport, we use the Global Model, using real game situations. Working with future teachers or coaches and using the game to learn is essential for their profession, "said Ernesto Alvarez Guzman, a member of the Association of Physical Culture of the State of Michoacán.
