UVAQ hosts the 4th IT Interuniversity Academic Day

Morelia, Michoacán. March 15th, 2016, Santa Maria Campus. International Trade Students from UMSNH, UDEM, UNLA and UVAQ gathered on the 4th Interuniversity Academic Day "Impact of the Pacific Alliance in International Trade", where through lectures, workshops and the presentation of the book "Integration of Mexico into the global dynamics and potential of the Pacific Alliance", universities joined efforts to provide students with a greater context of the profession they are studying. Among the guest speakers were Dr. Adolfo Laborde Carranco from ITESM, and Dr. Luis Ochoa Bilbao from BUAP.

"For five years, we have joined efforts to unite universities and create closer ties to invite renowned speakers that can enrich the knowledge of our students, teachers and principals. All these achievements have made it possible that today we are considered by other national major agencies as institutions of excellence and working level. Therefore, we have the presence and participation of the Mexican Association for International Studies, "said Lila Lisseth Govea Dueñas, Director of the School of International Trade at UVAQ.

Also, Dr. Rafael Velázquez Flores from UABC and President of the Mexican Association for International Studies AMEI said that "no other city in the country has an event of this nature, where several universities organize an academic conference with the purpose to benefit and complement the professional studies of their students, you should feel fortunate. It is important that you know the job market for trade, business or international relations is highly competitive; therefore you have to find a better academic training to enable you to compete. The AMEI is an association that is dedicated to promote and disseminate international studies and it is an honor to be here with you. "
