400 high school students attending the Expo UVAQ 2016

Morelia, Michoacán. February 25th, 2016, Santa Maria Campus. The Expo UVAQ 2016 was held with an attendance of 400 students from high schools around the city of Morelia and the rest of the state. At the beginning of the event, José de Jesús López Castellanos, along with the university’s authorities, directors and coordinators, welcomed visitors inviting them to get acquainted with the UVAQ’s essence.

Roberto Aguilar Chavez, Promotion Coordinator at UVAQ said that "the purpose of this event is that high school students do activities to experiment up-close part of the profession they want to study, so they know about the future of their major and work opportunities available. The quality that our university has maintained, through comprehensive and human development, places us as one of the top universities in the state and the region, allowing our graduates to be placed more easily in any sector of society ".

The event was enlivened by UVAQ’s representative groups of Dance and Pop Rock Band.
