IDA students donate furniture

Santa Maria Campus. As part of the final projects of the subject in furniture design, fifth semester students of the School of Interior Design and Atmosphere, donated their creations.

"It has been of great help, now I'll have where to put my things. It’s very nice. Thanks so much to the girls who gave it to me, God will multiply in return." Said Mrs. Gloria Machado Velazquez, who received furniture donated by students of IDA for her tortilla stand.

The student Judith Solis Puebla said "the idea presented to us was to develop furniture which could be donated. We came up with something functional, in this case we thought of a

Tortilla stand in Jesus del Monte and, considering Gloria’s needs, we developed the idea."

Ana Karen Arriaga Serrano explained that they achieved "something that would integrate well in the environment where it would be used. This stand is in a rural context, the idea is that by using this furniture, the stand can have a better appearance and, at the same time, for it to be functional to the owner. It gives us great satisfaction that we can help people who need it by participating in a learning strategy activity."
