UVAQ students travel to Europe with an exchange program

The first month of 2016 brought the departure time for UVAQ students to Europe, who are incorporated in institutions in Spain and France in international mobility programs.

These programs are made through bilateral cooperation agreements and networks of collaboration with various universities and mobility of proven academic excellence in Europe.

The institutions where they will arrive are: Sevilla University, Oviedo University, Malaga University, Santiago de Compostela University, Valencia University and Blaise Pascal University.

The young people belong to the following majors:

Communication Sciences

International Trade

They will attend an academic semester thanks to the efforts of UVAQ, through the Office of International Affairs at the corporate Santander Universities.

The students leave to  Europe benefiting from the " Santander scholarship 2016", the program of the Santander Group which aims to provide international mobility grants to students from universities of excellence that are attending the last two years of their majors to begin studies for six months in institutions abroad.

The scholarships distinguish the achievements of students with excellent academic performance and who registered on time to participate in the international mobility programs during the January-July 2016 semester.

For UVAQ, it is extremely important that students have the chance to meet educational, social and different cultural contexts, through programs of national and international mobility, which allow students to enhance their cultural knowledge and broaden their horizons. With actions such as providing scholarships and supports, UVAQ offers more and better options to carry the legacy of Don Vasco de Quiroga to other lands.

UVAQ and Santander will deliver scholarships to students for participation in the “Iberoamerica” mobility program for the first semester of 2016.
