New generation of TALUVAQ leaders

With the aim of promoting the leadership and commitment of the university, the Pastoral Department of Santa Maria Campus organized the UVAQ Leaders’ Workshop (TALUVAQ) with 25 students from the different degrees of our university and 5 students from the Ciudad Hidalgo Campus who learned through conferences and workshops how to develop different leadership skills.
According to Jorge Zambrano, head of the Pastoral Department, "TALUVAQ is the space our university provides for students to develop their full potential as leaders with a Catholic approach." In addition, it helps them develop teamwork and learn how to solve problems with creativity and solidarity.
This activity also contributes to the university’s mission to train young people holistically, offering students a space where they can learn not only academically but also humanly and spiritually in a friendly atmosphere.
This year, a deacon and a seminarian from the Crusaders of Christ the King participated, providing spiritual and human guidance to attendees, in addition to organizing a holy hour and helping with the Eucharistic celebration on Sunday.
